I chose The Itsy Bitsy Spider for a title because the scratches on my back look like a spider or scorpion to me. Also, it's kind of creepy since it's a children's song.
Yes, the scratches are real, but they didn't hurt. When you get out the shower you can just honestly rub your skin or scratch your skin lightly and it will turn bright red like this. So, no this is not self mutilation.
