I honestly think this is photography's equivalent of Edvard Munch's Scream, but it works in a different way because it is in black and white---where I think Munch's piece accentuates hysteria with color. Yours however, throws that aside and shows us that stark black and white contrast between the face and eyes and mouth and really makes me appreciate the grotesqueness of the expression. Whoever applied that makeup is equally as talented in my opinion (if it was you---which I would assume it was--then kudos). I didn't even notice the subtly of the tree until I looked up close. Superb piece Scelus, I dig it righteously. Glad I'm following you.
Yeap. I applied the makeup, but the scratching was all my friends work since she didn't want me to come near her face with my long fingernails. Thanks so much for the thoughtful comment. It made me smile.
